Why is Crossroads Different
Within Wiltshire, Somerset and B&NES, Sensory Integration assessment and therapy are not readily available on the NHS or within Social Care. Sensory Integration is a specialist training area that requires post-graduate specialist training.

Our Team
Founder/Director: Gemma Shaw
Gemma attended the University of the West of England to qualify as an Occupational Therapist in 2016. She has since completed post-graduate training in Ayres Sensory Integration to become a qualified practitioner. Gemma has experience working with a wide variety of children including those on the Autism spectrum, and with trauma and attachment challenges. Gemma has worked in a Special school setting for many years and has experience as a self-employed therapist. Her passion is helping children to better understand themselves and to be understood by those who support them.
